| | Welcome to the June 2022 update at Brucedaniel.art For the past 3 months we have been living (and painting) on the Fraser Coast, Queensland, enjoying an extended summer and magnificent sunsets. Somewhat ironically, Bruce has been obsessively painting the NSW High Country! The weather is terrific for drying oil paintings and there are some exciting works in progress. Please read on to find out about Bruce's current and future exhibitions. We would love you to share this newsletter with anyone you think may be interested.

| | Prize Winner - Annual Hervey Bay Art Society Competitive Exhibition, 25th June - 31 July 2022 | Bruce was delighted to win Second Prize in the Open Section at the Annual Hervey Bay Art Society Competitive Exhibition last week with his landscape Snow Mountains Source. This painting is for sale along with many other fine artworks at Gatakers Art Space, Maryborough, Queensland until July 31. We highly recommend a visit if you are in the area, or perhaps a spontaneous holiday for any southerners who are suffering the winter blues! |
| | Bruce has long been fascinated by the landscapes of the New South Wales High Country so we jumped at a chance to spend 3 days trekking with friends, Tony and Phyllis, in March. Bruce is now creating a series on this magnificent country for a solo exhibition in the first half of 2023. Details TBA. For sneak previews, you might like to follow Bruce on Facebook or Instagram. |
| | | Dare to Dream - Mist Gallery 13th May - 3rd July 2022 Bruce has a number of coastal and outback landscapes exhibited at Mist Gallery’s current exhibition Dare to Dream, which finishes at the end of next week. Mist Gallery is a wonderful artist run venture located at Cabarita Beach, on the northern NSW coast. The region was hit very hard by recent flooding and we would encourage you to support the gallery if you are able.
