Dear reader

Welcome to the May 2023 Digest at brucedaniel.ART

As winter rapidly approaches, Bruce is locked away in his Blue Mountains studio, finalising a new series of oil paintings: High Country: Timeless Energy. The artworks seek to capture the beauty and wilderness above the snow line, with a generous sprinkling of rocks, alpine streams and meadows. The full collection will be on display in a solo exhibition at Art Space on The Concourse opening on 26th July to 6th August 2023. We hope to see you there!

People's Choice Award - Harden Art Prize 2023

Three paintings from Bruce's High Country series have been selected as finalists in various art prizes over the last year, with the most recent winning 'People's Choice' in the Harden Art Prize.

The art prizes have prompted us to embark on a number of road trips through magnificent country from Southern NSW, to the Central Coast to North Queensland, where we have enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with other artists and art lovers.

We'd like to thank the communities of Harden-Murrumburrah, Cowra and Hervey Bay in particular for creating opportunities to promote the arts. We'd highly recommend you put these locations on your list of travel destinations!
